I am originally from San Diego, CA, and living now in the San Francisco Bay area working as a Pilates instructor at UC San Francisco and the owner of Pilates for EveryBody.

I have BA degrees from the University of California, Irvine, and MA degrees from UCLA and the University of Chicago. I was a high school and adult school teacher for many years in the US and South America.

A few years ago, I truly fell in love with Pilates trying it out for the first time. Pilates has really helped me manage challenging health issues both mentally and physically. I am a believer of the genius behind the power of the classical method to rehabilitate whether it be low back, knee, osteoporosis, etc.

So when I decided it was time for a career change I enrolled in the rigorous 600hr Power Pilates in NYC and Boston classical comprehensive training working under a Senior Master Trainer.   After graduating I worked at private Pilates studios in Boston, then at the Nike HQ in Oregon teaching in-person and virtually.

I love the fact that classical Pilates can be taught to anyone no matter their age, gender or background. It truly amazes me when I am able to see a 90yr grandfather and a 20yr ballet dancer both practicing these timeless exercises and seeing equally transformative results. This is why I am so excited to be a Pilates teacher for many years to come!
